A Masonic Memorial Day tradition
Brothers Jack Vance and Benito Garza help lead Masonic participation in the Memorial Day observance at Houston National Cemetery. Masons gather near the rotunda, assemble behind the District banner and the American and Texas flags, and join the ceremony in procession.
A 2024 district communication directed Masons to meet on the west side of the rotunda at 8:00 a.m., wear dark pants with a light blue shirt, bring a plain white apron, and march in unison during the ceremony. It also identified Brothers Jack Vance and Bennie Garza as the contacts for additional information.
